Cell Site Grooming Solution

Many Wireless operators have partially utilized links (STM-1, E3, E1) that can benefit from grooming. Grooming is an application where under utilized links are combined to provide fully utilized links that are more economical to maintain. Links in Wireless networks often rely on leased lines to provide full network continuity. Leased lines are a recurring expense that increases the cost of Wireless network operations. By combining under utilized links in a wireless application operators can realize savings of up to 50%.

Bayly's OMNI-Optix, OMNI-M13, OMNI-Dacs, OMNIFlex, OMNIBranch, and OMNIPlexer products can optimize STM-1, E3, and E1 facilities and reduce leased line costs by 50% or more. When private Wireless Network facilities are used, Bayly products will allow maximum usage of fiber optic, microwave radio and copper bandwidth. All types of wireless systems are supported (AMPS, DAMPS, GSM, TDMA, CDMA etc.) are supported by Bayly products.

The OMNIFlex has been installed and operational at every base station in a major Canadian wireless carrier for 3 - 5 years. In this application the OMNIFlex has provided significant cost savings and unparalleled reliability.
